Anton "Toni" Zeller (born December 15, 1909 ; † 1962 ) was a German cross-country skier and ski jumper .

Career

Toni Zeller became Bavarian youth champion in cross-country skiing in 1925. His brother Josef was active as a ski jumper at the same time. In 1934 Toni Zeller traveled to Lahti , Finland , at the invitation of the DSV , where he became the best Central European in cross-country skiing. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1935 he competed in cross-country skiing over 18 km and was nineteenth.

When he took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he finished 27th in the 18 km race . In the 4 × 10 km relay race , he finished sixth together with Herbert Leupold , Friedl Däuber and Willy Bogner . In the same year he became German champion over 18 km.

In 1934, 1936 and 1937 he was also able to win the German championship with the 4 × 10 km relay.
