At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1935 , which took place in Vysoké Tatry ( High Tatras ) in Czechoslovakia from February 13 to 18, 1935 , three cross-country skiing competitions were announced.
The podium places all went to the Scandinavian countries Finland , Sweden and Norway .
In cross-country skiing over 18 km, the Finn Klaes Karppinen won ahead of the two Norwegians Oddbjørn Hagen and Olaf Hoffsbakken . For the later four-time world champion and multiple medalist, however, this remained the only individual world title.
In the endurance run over 50 km, the Swede Nils Englund was the winner. He won ahead of the Finns Karppinen and Trygve Brodahl from Norway.
The Finns also remained winners in the two-time relay competition. Norway and Sweden followed in the places.
The best places of the Central Europeans went to Walter Motz with 7th place over 18 km, Kilian Ogi from Switzerland with 5th place in the endurance run and the German relay with fourth place.
