Participants: 18 teams registered; 17 started; 17 rated;

The official protocol for the USA team is incomplete. There are only three participants and three times are given:

  1. John Bower 44: 32.0
  2. Jon H. Elliott 40: 24.7 and
  3. Karl Bohlin 39: 35.0.

The fourth stage time is 41: 25.9. Jon H. Elliott was a ski jumper. It's likely a typo on Michael Elliott . todor66.com names the team as Bower - Elliott - Gray - Bohlin. It's probably Robert Gray . Not certain, but logical, that Robert Gray's mileage was 41: 25,9. However, it is possible that this time was achieved by another runner.
