Gianfranco "Franco" Manfroi (born June 11, 1939 in Canale d'Agordo , † October 12, 2005 in Belluno ) was an Italian cross-country skier .

Manfroi, who started for the Fiamme Oro , made his first international appearance at the 1962 Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane . There he finished 17th over 30 km. At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 , he came in 19th place over 50 km. He had his greatest international success at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1966 . There he won the bronze medal with the relay. He also achieved 20th place over 15 km and 30 km there. At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , he ran on 32nd place over 15 km and 25th place over 30 km. He completed his last international race at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970 in Vysoké Tatry , which he finished in 27th place over 50 km. At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , he worked as a coach. He won the Italian championships in 1961 and 1964 with the Fiamme Oro relay.
