Rolf Ingemar Rämgård (born March 30, 1934 in Älvdalen ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Rämgård, who started for Älvdalens IF , had his first international appearance at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 . There he took 20th place over 30 km and 11th place over 50 km. In the same year he became Swedish champion over 50 km. He defended this championship title in the following year. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , he won the bronze medal over 50 km and the silver medal over 30 km. He was also eighth over 15 km. In addition, he took second place in the Wasalauf in 1960 . Two years later he won seventh place over 50 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane in 1962 and won the Svenska Skidspelen over 30 km. The following year he was again second in the Wasalauf. After his active career, he was a Member of the Swedish Parliament from 1974 to 1985 as a member of the Centerpartiet .
