The Storfinnforsen power plant is a hydropower plant in the province of Västernorrland , Sweden , which dams the Faxälven . It went into operation in 1953 (or 1954). The power plant is owned by Uniper operated and run by Uniper.
Barrier structure
The barrier structure consists of a pier dam (length 800 m) with 100 piers and a dam (length 400 m) connected to the left side of the pier dam . Both the pillars and the water-side wall of the pier dam show cracks.
