Jaroslav Lukeš (born February 5, 1912 ; † unknown) was a Czechoslovakian skier who was active in the Nordic disciplines of ski jumping , cross-country skiing and Nordic combined .

Career

Lukeš was part of the Czechoslovak squad at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . There he achieved 27th place in the ski jumping singles from the Great Olympic Hill. A year earlier he jumped at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1935 in Vysoké Tatry in the ski jumping individual with jumps on 49 and 50.5 meters to 19th place.

After the Second World War he started again internationally. At the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , he jumped from the normal hill to 21st place. In the following 18 km cross-country skiing he achieved a weak 78th place. In Nordic Combined, after 37th place in cross-country skiing, he finished 35th after a good jump.
