Fidel Wagner (born March 17, 1912 in Oberstaufen , † February 14, 1945 in Graudenz , today Poland ) was a German cross-country skier and Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Fidel Wagner was Allgäu champion in the Nordic combined in 1934/35. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1935 in Vysoké Tatry ( High Tatras ) in Czechoslovakia , he took part in cross-country skiing and in Nordic combined . At the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 , he finished 18th in the individual Nordic Combined .

At the Bavarian Championships in Oberstaufen in 1937/38, he was narrowly defeated in the Nordic Combined by Willi Bogner .

In 1938 he took part for the second time in a Nordic World Ski Championships in cross-country skiing over 18 km and in Nordic combined .
