Friedl Däuber
Friedl Däuber (born January 5, 1911 in Berchtesgaden ; † May 1, 1997 ibid) was a German ski racer and cross-country skier .
The Berchtesgadener won the gold medal in slalom at the World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1932 . At the World Ski Championships in Mürren in 1931 , he won the bronze medal in slalom.
Däuber was also a successful cross-country skier. He reached sixth place over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Innsbruck in 1933 . In 1933 he was also German relay champion. Däuber was a Holmenkollen participant in 1935 . At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he was sixth with the relay over 4 × 10 km and 29th in the competition over 18 km.
