Josef Sievers

Josef Sievers (born February 20, 1875 in Dortmund , † July 15, 1964 in Daseburg ) was a German local politician and district administrator ( center ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed a bank apprenticeship in Dortmund from 1893 to 1897 , after which he was briefly active in this profession. Afterwards Sievers was an independent brickworks and landowner .

He was married and had five children.

He was a member of the district council of the Warburg district from 1946 to 1948.

Public offices

From February 22, 1946 to November 8, 1948 he was district administrator of the former district of Warburg . From 1918 to 1945 he was deputy district administrator in the Warburg district and at the same time district deputy.

Others

On December 29, 1952, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit (Steckkreuz). He also received the Certificate of Honor from the Association of Rural Cooperatives on September 29, 1951.
