Josef Stoll

Josef Stoll (born April 28, 1918 in Oberwölbling , † December 4, 1993 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and locksmith . From 1951 to 1961 Stoll was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After finishing elementary school, Stoll attended a secondary school and after finishing school he learned the trade of a locksmith. He was employed in the Reich Labor Service and did his military service from 1940 to 1945 during the Second World War , where he was taken prisoner by the Americans. After the Second World War, Stoll was deputy mayor from 1950 and mayor between 1960 and 1971. He also held the function of district party chairman and was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament between May 17, 1951 and May 15, 1961.
