Josef Trinkl (politician, 1951)

Josef Trinkl (born July 13, 1951 in Güssing , Burgenland , † April 26, 2004 in Graz ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Josef Trinkl attended the Strem elementary school from 1957 to 1961 , then the Güssing secondary school until 1965 and the Güssing high school for music and education between 1965 and 1970. Then he did his military service . He studied business administration (Mag. Rer. Soc. Oec.) And law (Mag. Iur. 1982, Dr. iur. 1983) from 1977 to 1983 at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz from 1971 to 1975 .

Between 1976 and 2004 Trinkl was an employee of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce . From 1977 Trinkl was a member of the Austrian People's Party. He belonged from 1988 to 1995 the council of Weiz and was there from 1989 to 1995 vice mayor . In the 20th, 21st and 22nd legislative periods , Trinkl was a member of the National Council (Austria) .

Josef Trinkl died on April 26, 2004 in Graz. He was married (to Brigitta Trinkl, AHS professor) and the father of three children (Christoph, Rainer and Carola).
