Josef Wallner (politician, 1908)

Josef Wallner (born May 10, 1908 in Schierling (Upper Palatinate) , † April 19, 1991 in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg ) was a German politician ( WAV , later DP ).

MP

Wallner belonged to the German Bundestag in its first legislative period (1949-1953). Originally elected for the WAV, he left it on December 6, 1951 with the majority of his parliamentary colleagues in protest against the re-election of Alfred Loritz as party chairman and joined the DP. He left this one year later on December 9, 1952 and was henceforth non-attached .

Public offices

From 1945 to 1964 he was first mayor of his home community Schierling . In 1964 he became district administrator in what was then the Mallersdorf district . During this time, the decisive course was set for the new construction of the Mallersdorf district hospital. In 1970 he did not stand for re-election.
