Josefin Asplund (* 15. October 1991 in Stockholm as Maria Josefin Asplund ) is a Swedish actress who mainly for their roles as Pernilla Blomkvist in the Stieg Larsson film version blindness , directed by David Fincher and as Astrid in the Canadian - Irish TV series Vikings is known. She played one of the leading roles in the film adaptation of the Swedish bestseller Zirkel . In the television series Hidden Agenda, based on the novel by Jens Lapidus , she plays the leading role of the ambitious business lawyer Emily, who gets caught in a dangerous plot to kidnap.
