Casa Fajol, Barcelona

Known for his house Casa Fajol in Barcelona (Carrer Llançà No. 20), also called the "House of the Butterfly" ( Catalan Casa de la Papallona .) The building is characterized by its frieze in Trencadís , a cladding made of broken ceramic fragments - typical for the Catalan modernism - as it can often be found in the works of Gaudi .

The facades of the Manufactures Serra i Balet (1910, Carrer Ortigosa) and Colores Hispania (1923, Carrer de Pere IV) factories , the latter built for the German-Cuban Emilio Heydrich, are contemporary witnesses of the late modernism . Other buildings are: the Sagristà and Sabata houses (1900, Carrer Enric Granados no. 96/98), the Ferrusola house (1904–1905, Carrer París no. 178), the Pascual Coll (1906–1908, Gran Via no. 457-460), the houses of Catasus and Montserrat (in Sitges ) and the house of Rovira (in Sant Joan Despí ).
