Joseph Attieh

Joseph Attieh (born May 14, 1987 in Batrun ) is a Lebanese singer who won the third season of the Arabic edition of the Star Academy talent show in 2005. He became known in the Arab pop scene through the songs La Trouhy and Yey .

Artistic career

Joseph Attieh was the first Lebanese to win on the Star Academy TV show . In 2006 he released his first single, La Trouhy (“Don't Go Away”), in the form of a music video. This song became a bestseller in Lebanon and throughout the Middle East.

His second single, Nahle ("Die Biene"), came out in 2007. Joseph Attieh released his third single, Habeit Oyounak (“I love your eyes”), again in the form of a music video at the end of the fifth season of Star Academy .

In February 2010, Joseph Attieh released his first album, Mawhoum . His album had seven new hits ( Habib El Gharam , Teeb El Shouq , Temthal , Fiky , Lamma El Kelma , Ghayeb Habib El Rouh and Mawhoum ). In late 2010 he released two more singles and music videos as well as a wedding song ( Kel El Den ). And he was nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award for best Arab male singer.

In August 2012 he released his second album, Chou Btaemel Bel Nass . This album contained nine new hits ( Chou Btaemel Bel Nass , Sodfi Gharibe , Al wared , Aallama , Kelma Bshoudik , Wajaa El Zekrayat , Rayhin Ala Betna , Fare El Omor and Ma Bhab ).

In June 2013 he won the second Murex d'Or award for best album ( Chou Btaemel Bel Nass ).

In March 2015 he released his third album, Hobb W Mkattar . This album contains ten songs ( Min Jdid , La Tkhallini , Kel Ma El Masa Bi Tol , Damaato , Kilme Elak , Ya Kezabi , Weilak , Akbar Mennon Kellon , Helwa ).
