Joseph Edward Gallo

Joseph "Joe" Edward Gallo, Jr. (born September 11, 1919 in Antioch , California , † February 17, 2007 in Livingston , California) was a well-known and successful entrepreneur in California.

Joseph Edward Gallo was the younger brother of the winemakers Ernest and Julio Gallo and ran a dairy which produces one of the most famous breakfast products in California with its "Joseph Farms cheese".

Originally, Joseph wanted to market his family name Gallo for his dairy, affiliated ranching, and products, but in 1986 Ernest and Julio sued him. The two older brothers won in court and the relationship between them remained broken until his death.

The second son of Joseph Edward Gallo is also named Joseph Gallo .
