Joseph Franz Malcote
Joseph Franz Malcote (* 1710; † 1791) was a German painter.
Malcote was the court painter to Duchess Johanna Elisabeth . As an academic citizen, he was exempt from taxes and other duties as well as from the strict guild compulsory and was allowed to shop cheaply. He designed the triumphal arch for Duke Carl Eugen's entry into the University of Tübingen in 1777. A total of four paintings by him have been preserved in the Tübingen Professorengalerie :
