Joseph Levy Blumenthal

Joseph Levy Blumenthal (also Leopold ) (born June 23, 1819 in Rödelheim ; † August 1, 1898 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German businessman and politician .

Blumenthal, who was of Jewish faith, lived as a merchant in the Free City of Frankfurt . There he was also politically active. In 1866 he was a member of the city's legislative body , after its annexation by Prussia he was no longer politically active.
