Joseph Nicholas Anton Del Negro
Joseph Nicholas Anton Del Negro (* 1929 in Manhattan ; † 2015 ), called Pep (short for Pepe) was an American actor and painter.
Life
In the 1960s and 1970s, the American starred in several German and French film productions. He became known in the role of a priest monk in Werner Herzog's classic film Aguirre, the Wrath of God . In addition, he was also active as a painter. He lived in Deià on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca and on the Indonesian island of Bali . His grave is in the Deià cemetery.
