Joseph Overath

Joseph Overath (* 1950 in Sieglar ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , author and priest .

Life

From 1963 to 1971 he attended the old-language Heilig-Geist-Gymnasium (Würselen) . His uncle was prelate Johannes Overath, general secretary of the Cecilia Association and at the Second Vatican Council Peritus with a focus on church music . He was ordained a priest in Cologne in 1981 . He works as a hospital pastor in Lindlar ( Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis ).
