Josh Rouse

Josh Rouse (born 1972 in Nebraska ) is a singer-songwriter . As a teenager, he claims to have listened to music bands like The Cure and The Smiths . Rouse then learned to play guitar and wrote his first song at the age of 18. His repertoire can best be classified in the genre of singer / songwriter pop.

Rouse was then signed and recorded his debut album 'Dressed Up Like Nebraska'. He lived for a while in the country metropolis Nashville , where he made friends with Kurt Wagner, head of the band Lambchop . Together they recorded the EP 'Chester'. Further solo albums followed: 'Home' (2000), 'Under The Cold Blue Stars' (2002), '1972' (2003), 'Nashville' (2005) and 'Subtítulo' (2006).

Rouse, now separated from his wife, moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Valencia , Spain , which is also reflected musically in his LPs "Subtítulo" and "El Turista".
