Joshua J. Macrae

Joshua J. Macrae (* 1964 in Tel Aviv ; also known as Josh Macrae ) is a British drummer and music producer .

He was the drummer of Roger Taylor's rock band The Cross , in whose songwriting Macrae was also involved. In the following years he co-produced Taylor's solo albums and he played drums again on his "Happiness" tour. Macraes began working with Queen in 1992 when he accompanied the remaining members as a percussionist at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert . He then worked as a sound engineer and co-producer on numerous albums of the band, including Queens Made in Heaven and The Cosmos Rocks by Queen + Paul Rodgers .

In addition, Joshua J. Macrae worked as a producer, sound engineer and drummer with other musicians, such as Bob Geldof .
