Josip Belušić

Josip Belušić (* 1847 in Labin , Istria , then Austria-Hungary , now Croatia ; †?) Was a Croatian inventor .

Life

Belušić invented the first speedometer in 1888 . His invention was patented in Austria-Hungary under the name "Velocimeter". He was u. a. Professor in Koper .
