The Jossac Bight is a bay on the south coast of South Georgia between the Holme beach and Aspasia Point .
The name Jossac Bite [sic!] Goes back to the first seafarers who called at South Georgia. The German explorer Ludwig Kohl-Larsen named it Holmestrand-Hortenbucht during his expedition (1928–1930) , but the shape we know today was retained.
