The Jewell Glacier is a short glacier on the south coast of South Georgia . It flows from Mount Grant in a south-southwest direction to Jossac Bight .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1982 after John Alexander Jewell (* 1952), field research assistant for the British Antarctic Survey in this area between 1976 and 1977, at Rothera Station between 1977 and 1978 and head of this station from 1978 to 1980.
