Mount Grant is a 1205 m high mountain on the south side of South Georgia . It rises between the Esmarkbreen and the Keilhau Glacier .
The South Georgia Survey mapped the mountain as part of its 1951-1957 survey of South Georgia. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after Henry Eugene Walter Grant (1855-1934), Colonial Secretary and Legal Advisor to the Falkland Islands from 1906 to 1909, who was involved in the development of the whaling industry and efforts to protect the whales in the area .
