The Journal of Costal Research (JCR) is a scientific journal for ecology and landscape planning and management on coasts .

The magazine is published twice a month by the US Coastal Education & Research Foundation (CERF).

In terms of content, the journal covers the entire field of coastal research. This includes topics from the fields of environmental technology ( limnology , brackish water or marine habitats) and management and protection of coastal resources.
