Journal of Contemporary History

Journal of Contemporary History is an academic journal on contemporary history of the 20th century.

It was founded in 1966 by the American historians of German-Jewish origin Walter Laqueur and George L. Mosse . Today it is published quarterly by SAGE Publications , edited by Richard J. Evans (University of Cambridge) and Stanley Payne (University of Wisconsin). In addition to essays by historians on socio-historical, political, economic and cultural-historical topics of the 20th century, the journal contains reviews of current book publications on contemporary history.
