Journal of Language Contact

The Journal of Language Contact (online edition ISSN  1955-2629 ) is one since 2007 once or twice a year appearing in Brill moved specialized publication on questions of language contact , the language pragmatics and language change . She deals with these topics not only from a linguistic perspective , but also from an anthropological , historical and cognitive science perspective.

The editors-in-chief are Alexandra Aikhenvald from the Cairns Institute at James Cook University and Robert Nicolaï from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis .

Articles published in the journal are peer-reviewed and written in English or French.
