Joyce Fitch
Joyce Fitch (born April 3, 1922 , † July 26, 2012 in Auckland , New Zealand ) was an Australian tennis player .
Career
In 1946, she and her compatriot Mary Bevis won the women's doubles at the Australian tennis championships (now the Australian Open ). They defeated Thelma Long and Nancye Wynne Bolton in straight sets 9-7, 6-4 . It was the first double competition in Melbourne after a break of five years (1941 to 1945), which was inserted because of the Second World War .
On May 23, 1951, she married John Rymer.
