Juan Carlos Valenzuela Hernández (born May 15, 1984 in Guaymas , Sonora ) is a Mexican football player who is used on the defensive - mostly in the defense and occasionally in the defensive midfield.

Valenzuela began his professional career at his hometown club Atlas Guadalajara and made his debut in the Mexican Primera División in a derby against Tecos de la UAG , which Atlas won 2-0. In early 2008 he moved to the Tecos, for whom he played throughout 2008 and completed a total of 33 league games (including the Liguillas ). At the beginning of 2009 he moved to the capital for Club America , where he is currently still under contract.

National team

Valenzuela made his debut in the jersey of the Mexican national team on September 24, 2008 in a friendly in the USA against Chile, which the Mexicans lost 1-0.
