Juan Dosal

Juan Dosal (born June 3, 1942 in Toluca , Estado de México ), also known by the nickname El Maestrito (dt. The little champion ), is a former Mexican football player on the position of a striker . After his active career, Dosal began working as a journalist and commentator.

Life

Dosal was under contract with his hometown club Deportivo Toluca throughout the 1960s and won the championship title and the Supercup twice, as well as the CONCACAF Champions' Cup with him in 1967 and 1968 .

With his goals in the decisive games Dosal played a major role in winning the first two championship titles of Deportivo Toluca FC . On February 19, 1967, he scored both goals for a 2-0 win against Necaxa and a year later, on January 7, 1968, he scored for the 2-0 final against the UNAM Pumas .
