Juan Pablo Garat (born April 19, 1983 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player . The defender has been playing for FC Baden in the first division since July 2018 .

Career

Garat started playing soccer at Club Atlético Atlanta in his hometown of Buenos Aires when he was ten . In 2004 he came to the club's first team, which at the time played in the Primera B Metropolitana , the third highest Argentine soccer league. In the summer of 2005 Garat made the leap to Europe and moved to the Swiss Super League for FC St. Gallen . After two seasons in midfield, he had to relegate to the Challenge League at the end of the 2007/08 season , but managed to get promoted again immediately.

In 2009 Garat returned to Argentina and played for CA Tigre in the Primera División . Garat then moved to Romania to Dinamo Bucharest . In July 2011 Garat was signed by FC Aarau .
