Juan Quiroga

Juan Quiroga (born March 28, 1973 in La Serena ) is a former Chilean football player .

The midfielder began his career in 1992 with Deportes La Serena in the Primera División . In 1995 he moved to Universidad de Chile . With the club he took part in the Copa Libertadores in 1995 and was Chilean champion in 1995. In 1997 he played at Deportes Puerto Montt . After returning to Universidad de Chile, he passed a positive doping test in 1998 and was banned . In 1999 he went back to Deportes Puerto Montt and rose with the club in 2000 in the Primera B. In 2002 he moved to Deportes Temuco in the Primera División, but went to Cobresal after just one yearwhere he was under contract until 2006. He then returned to his old hometown club La Serena until he ended his career at Coquimbo Unido in 2009 .
