Jubilee Commemorative Medal (Liechtenstein)

The anniversary commemorative medal was donated on November 12, 1908 by Prince Johann II von und zu Liechtenstein on the occasion of his 50th anniversary in government and awarded to all persons in his service as well as selected personalities.

The round medal made of bronze shows the portrait of the founder, turned to the left, with the inscription JOHANN FÜRST VON LIECHTENSTEIN 1908 . The four-line inscription FOR THE 50 YEAR GOVERNMENT ANNIVERSARY is dominated by oak leaves on the reverse .

The medal was worn on a red triangular ribbon with yellow stripes on the left side of the chest.
