The Jubilee Peak (English for Jubiläumsspitze ) is an approximately 500 m high mountain on Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises west of Cape Lloyd at the northern end of the island.
Participants of the British Joint Services Expedition to the Elephant Iceland Group (JSEEIG, 1976-1977) ascended the mountain on 2 February 1977. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in reference to the silver jubilee of the British monarch Elizabeth II. In the same Year.
