Judith Klein (full name: Judith Natalia Klein; * 1946 ) is an author and translator living in Germany and France.

Life

She began as a literary and social scientist (Dr. phil. Habil.) And taught at German and French universities until 1991. She stayed in France , Israel and Portugal for research purposes . Her literary work revolves around the theory and practice of the literary representation of history, especially the Holocaust . Since 1991 she has worked as a freelance journalist for radio and press, as a translator and as an author of fictional texts in which she visualizes people on the edge of nowhere. She wrote radio and newspaper essays about Elias Canetti , Isabelle Eberhardt , Romain Gary , Primo Levi , Miguel Torga , Simone Weil and others. a.
