Jules Anglès (* 1778 , † January 16, 1828 in Cornillon ) was a French politician.

Anglès took over the position of Police Minister of Savary, duc de Rovigo , during the First Restoration . He held this office from April 3, 1814 to May 13, 1814, before being replaced by Joseph Fouché, duc d'Otrante .

On September 29, 1815 he was appointed Police Prefect of Paris , replacing Élie, comte Decazes , who succeeded Fouché as Minister of Police. For over six years he served as the head of the Paris police force. But since the allegations against him increased after the murder of the duc de Berry in February 1820, he had to resign on December 20, 1821. He was succeeded by Guy Delavau .

In 1826 he was mayor of the municipality of Mably in the Loire department for a short time before he died in early 1828.
