Jules de Balincourt
Jules de Balincourt (* 1972 in Paris ) is a French-American artist.
Life
After his parents divorced, Jules de Balincourt grew up in Los Angeles in the early 1980s . He studied at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco until 1998 (BFA) and then at Hunter College in New York , where he graduated ( MFA ) in 2005 .
Today Jules de Balincourt lives and works in Brooklyn , New York .
Until 2010 he was represented by the Zach Feuer Gallery in New York and Arndt & Partner in Berlin and Zurich ; since then he has worked with Galerie Deitch in the USA and with Galerie Ropac in Paris and Salzburg .
