Henri Alphonse Barnoin (* 7. July 1882 in Paris ; † 1935 ) was a French painter of Impressionism .

Little is known about Barnoin's life. He received his first drawing lessons from the history painter of academic realism Luc-Olivier Merson (1846–1920). His second teacher, Émile Charles Dameron (1848-1908), had a significant influence on his artistic style. It is attributed to impressionism. He often painted in Brittany with subjects such as harbor scenes, street scenes and markets. His style can be characterized as “narrative”. He spent some time in Le Faouët . Around ten of his oil paintings hang in the city's museum today.

In 1909, Henri Alphonse Barnoin exhibited his work in the Salon de Paris and won an award in the same year. Further awards followed in 1921 (silver medal) and 1935 (gold medal).

Today the international art market values ​​his paintings at around 10,000 euros (2010).
