Julia Eichinger (born December 28, 1992 in Freyung ) is a former German freestyle skier . She specialized in the discipline of ski cross .

biography

Julia Eichinger switched from alpine skiing to ski cross in 2010 . At the 2015 Freestyle Skiing World Championships on Kreischberg , she took fourth place. After tearing two cruciate ligaments, she started at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . There she was eliminated in the first lap and ultimately finished 21st. After she had fulfilled her childhood dream of participating, she ended her career as a competitive athlete.
