Julia Marianne Kirchner

Julia Marianne Kirchner (* 1937 in Wiesbaden ) is a German Romance philologist and translator of literary works , mainly from Italian and French.

She is the daughter of the Hölderlin researcher Werner Kirchner and the painter Annemarie von Jakimow-Kruse .

After completing her apprenticeship, she studied Romance languages ​​and was assistant to Siegfried Unseld at Suhrkamp Verlag in 1961/62 . In 1966 she received her doctorate from the University of Marburg .

She lives in Wiesbaden.
