Julian (son of Constantine III)
Julian († 411 ) was a son of the Western Roman counter-emperor Constantine (III) .
Julian was the younger brother of Constans (II.) . Shortly after Constans had received the rank of Caesar from his father in 408 , Julian was appointed nobilissimus . When Constans was elevated to Augustus in late 409 or early 410 and sent to Spain, the Caesar title should have passed to Julian. Julian and his father were captured by the army master and later Emperor Constantius in Arles in 411, sent to Honorius in Italy and executed on his orders in August or September 411 near Ravenna .
