Julian Habermann

Julian Habermann (* 1993 in Freising ) is a German opera, concert and lied singer with a tenor voice .

biography

Habermann was a member of the Regensburger Domspatzen and graduated from high school in 2012 at the Domspatzen music school. In 2012 he also won prizes at the National Singing Competition in Berlin (junior competition) and at the national youth music competition in Stuttgart . In 2013 he began studying singing at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts . In 2017 he was in the final of the international competition "Das Lied". He was a scholarship holder of the Lied Academy of the Heidelberger Frühling music festival and in 2018 he participated in the "Liederwerkstatt" at the Kissinger Sommer for the first time . Habermann was seen in various roles at the Frankfurt Opera during his studies and made his debut at the Wiesbaden State Theater in the 2018/19 season . In 2019 he sang the song group “Auf dem See” at the Kissinger Liederwerkstatt, which Wolfgang Rihm wrote for Julian Habermann. In the same year he was awarded the "Luitpold Prize" of the Kissinger Sommer festival.
