Juliane Freiin von Campenhausen

Juliane Freiin von Campenhausen (born February 6, 1902 in Riga ; † February 13, 1990 in Heidelberg ) was a German politician and member of the CDU state parliament .

Juliane Freiin von Campenhausen was born on February 6, 1902 in Riga. She studied law and later worked as a lawyer. From 1946 to 1950 she was a member of the Württemberg-Baden state parliament. Social issues were particularly important to her. For example, she campaigned for maintenance allowances for relatives of prisoners of war from the public sector. She was able to combine her legal expertise very well with her social commitment in the context of her political work.
