Juliane Hofmann

Juliane Hofmann (born May 1980 in Dresden ) is a German yachtsman.

Life

Juliane Hofmann began her training as a sailor with the Optimist . Her parents were members of a company sports club at the Schwielochsee . Juliane Hofmann was looked after and promoted there by her trainer Falk Hagemann. She has been actively sailing in the OK dinghy class since she was sixteen . From 2014 to 2016 Hofmann was Secretary of the International OK-Dinghy Association.

In 2007 Hofmann was German runner-up in the OK dinghy. In 2011 she won the German Masters in the Europejolle . In 2013, she and her helmsman Sascha Schröter took second place at the European Pirate Championship in Lipno .

Hofmann has been working as a sail maker since 2007. She lives with her family in Potsdam .
