biography

In 1969 she recorded her first record on the Magellan label ( LPs distributed by Barclay Records ) and released them with The way to your heart , Colors of our love , Funny Boy and The Kite . In 1969 Julie Bergen released the single L'oiseau sur la branche , which became her greatest success. In 1970 she took part with Menningen in the French qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest , where she reached the quarter-finals, and went on tour through France with the singer Antoine .

In 1971, Bergen embarked on an extensive tour of Europe and Canada and released the album Julie Bergen with the singles Chante avec l'amour , L'oiseau rare , Ring et Bang and Le même automne . In 1972 the single Blueberry River came out, on which she sang in German. In 1995 she gave concerts in New Zealand .

Julie Bergen lives in Frankfurt am Main .
