Julie Martin du Theil

Julie Martin du Theil (* in Geneva ) is a French - Swiss singer who specializes in soprano .

biography

Julie Martin du Theil studied singing at the Conservatoire de Lausanne There she received a teaching diploma and concert diploma with distinction in 2007. During her studies she took part in master classes with Teresa Berganza and Christian Gerhaher , among others . After graduation, she moved to Munich to study with Edith Wiens at the University of Music and Theater and graduated in June 2010 with a soloist diploma . In July 2010 she played the leading role of Emilienne in Philippe Béziat's film »Noces«, based on Igor Stravinsky's work.

Since August 2010 she has been a member of the Magdeburg Theater ensemble .
