Julie White (athlete)

Julie White ( Julie Margaret White; born June 1, 1960 in Bancroft , Ontario ) is a former Canadian high jumper and pentathlon or heptathlete .

At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she came in tenth place in the high jump.

In 1978 she won bronze in the high jump at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton and was eighth in the pentathlon. The following year she was fourth in the high jump at the 1979 Pan American Games in San Juan.

At the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, she was sixth in the heptathlon and tenth in the high jump.

In 1976 she became the US high jump indoor champion. Her personal best in this discipline of 1.88 m she set on June 8, 1979 in Etobicoke .
